Students that have registered to take Vol State Dual Enrollment classes during the school year 2020-2021, please remember to apply for admissions on Vol State's website (returning dual enrollment students only need to complete the Grant). All information available for Dual Enrollment classes is posted on Vol State's website. Student must have a 3.0 or higher GPA to be considered eligible. Please contact your School Counselor if you have any questions. 

 

 

*****The deadline for students to view the mandatory meeting webinar has been extended to Sunday, May 31, 2020.  Any student whose meeting was cancelled on or after March 12, 2020 must view the webinar by the deadline. Students who missed their assigned meeting on or prior to March 11, 2020 can watch the webinar to reinstate scholarship eligibility. Students can view the webinar via mobile device.*****

 

Students and parents/guardians have been sent a MANDATORY webinar. It is mandatory for the student to log individually into their tnAchieves account and watch the webinar in its entirety to retain TN Promise eligibility. The deadline to watch the 37-minute webinar HAS BEEN EXTENDED until May 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM. Failure to watch the webinar by the deadline will result in loss of TN Promise eligibility. Please follow the below instructions to access the webinar:

1. Click the "View Tem Meeting Webinar" button included in the email sent from tnAchieves

2. After clicking the "View Team Meeting Webinar" button:

  1. Enter:
    • Student first and last name
    • Student date of birth
    • Last four digits of student's Social Security Number
  2. Click Submit.
  3. Click play on the YouTube video.
  4. Watch the webinar in its entirety.
  5. Click submit.

The THEC/TSAC Outreach Team is excited to offer new Lunch-and-Learn webinars for the month of May. We’ll be launching our 8-for-8 series available to students and parents beginning Monday, May 11. The topics below will be relevant to students in early high school grades through graduating seniors. Each topic will be covered 4 times over the 2-week period and families and are scheduled so a family may attend all 8, if desired. The webinars will be offered Monday-Thursday at 11:30(central)/12:30(eastern) and will typically last around 30 minutes.
